Start with the exchange direction
Most users are either selling USDT to receive KES or buying USDT with KES. Pick the direction first because the rate, payment flow, and wallet details depend on it.
For a sell flow, you enter the USDT amount and review the estimated KES payout. For a buy flow, you enter the KES amount and review the estimated USDT received.
Check the network before sending funds
USDT exists on several networks. Always confirm the selected network before sending crypto. A Solana address and a Tron address are not interchangeable.
Use the network shown in the quote and transaction screen. If you are unsure, pause and verify before sending.
Review the rate, fees, and limits
Exchange rates can move during the day. Review the live USDT to KES quote before confirming, and check the minimum and maximum limits shown by the app.
A clear quote should show what you pay, what you receive, and any network or service cost before you proceed.
Use M-Pesa details carefully
For KES payout, confirm the receiving M-Pesa phone number, till, or paybill details. A small typo can delay or misdirect payment.
Keep transaction references and screenshots until the exchange is completed.
